Silkscreen prints
Each Keecie item contains a lovely surprise: open your bag or purse and discover the playful silkscreen print on the inside. Our prints are often inspired by flowers and animals, and they are chosen to fit the shape and function of the design.
Take the elephant on the inside of Elephant Joke, which represents the spacious format of the bag: it’s big enough to take anywhere, but compact enough to not lose sight of what’s inside. All Keecie bags and purses have their own unique print, screen-printed using sustainable water-based paint in our studio in Poland.
Special editions
Did you know we developed special editions for two museums in Amsterdam? For the Van Gogh Museum we made a credit card holder, a purse and a bag with almond blossom prints inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s Almond Blossoms, and for the Rijksmuseum we created a series based on a work by Melchior d'Hondecoeter. This seventeenth-century artist depicted several birds in his painting ‘The Menagerie’, each bird more exotic than the next. We chose two of these birds to display in Keecie’s Rijksmuseum items.
