Keecie enthusiast: Lisanne Multem

Sometimes you come across a brand that you instantly fall in love with. That's what Lisanne Multem of Happy Handmade Living had with Keecie. She shares here why she's a big fan.

I came into contact with Keecie because someone was selling her bag on Instagram. From the first moment I saw the Move Mountains bag there I knew I had to have it. It was yellow and I still love the warm color. Ten years later it is still just as beautiful. Keecie has not let me go since then. The softness of the leather, the practical layout of the bags but of course also the great screen print on the inside are truly beautiful. These are bags that only become more beautiful over time through use.

I was very curious about the story behind these bags and that immediately made Keecie my favorite brand. A Dutch brand, founded by Klaartje de Hartog. The bags are handmade from the most beautiful and softest leather I have ever felt. They really become part of your wardrobe and last for years. Time only makes them more beautiful. The designs are timeless and stylish, which makes them fit with every outfit. The prints remind me of nice moments and memories.

They are wonderful gifts to receive and to give. I have collected a number of them over the past 10 years. Bags for different occasions, with different memories. I still use the Move Mountain bags very often, ideal for when I am at a fair, giving workshops or quickly doing some shopping. Handy compartments for cards and also a compartment with a zipper. That is what I like so much about Keecie bags. There is room for all your important things. The print with mountains reminds me of beautiful trips we made.

For work I love the Elephant Joke , a big bag that fits everything, your notebook or agenda, phone, laptop and wallet. I use the handy pocket on the front for my public transport pass, ideal! Of course this pass is also in a Keecie pass case . I chose the black bag because it goes with everything, but I also love the blue, green and cognac colours from the shop. The colours of Keecie are all so rich and striking that it is difficult to choose.

For when I prefer not to take a bag with me and want to have my hands free, but I still need to take an ID, debit card and phone with me, I have the Cat Chase in gold. It weighs nothing, is incredibly handy and fits more than you think. I love cats, have two of those rascals at home myself and that is why this quirky print really appealed to me. I have owned all these bags for a long time, but last month a new one was added to my collection, I really could not resist it. This bag has a print of my favourite animal on the inside. A leopard! Drive me crazy! The Lazy Boy is also an instant favourite bag model, it can hold a lot and yet it is light to carry. I chose Cognac, another timeless colour that goes with everything.

Do I have enough? Of course! I can do this my whole life. But there is still one on my wish list, I want the Lunch Break in the color Forest, green is my favorite color and I also think the design of that bag is beautiful. The flap is so cool. Once you fall in love with a Keecie bag, it never goes away.
